Buyers Products SaltDogg Heavy Duty Hydraulic Under Tailgate Spreader is the perfect way for contractors and municipalities to convert their dump trucks into winter warriors. It can handle 3/8 in. gravel in addition to bulk sand, salt, and 50/50 salt/sand mixes. The spreader works with 96 in. wide dump bodies.

The spreader is built to last with corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel. It features an anti-flow plate and a hydraulic safety lockout. Its massive 9 in. auger with 3/8 in. flighting provides steady flow no matter what material you're spreading. The spreader includes an auger screen to help break up clumps and prevent jams and a hinged full-length trough for hassle-free cleaning.

Spread material 2 to 40 ft (driver side discharge) with the 18 in. poly spinner. An optional berm chute (part #92451SS) is also available for passenger side discharge.

A direct hydraulic drive system powers the auger and spinner's independent low-speed, high-torque orbital motors. It features a sealed, self-aligning 1-1/4 in. diameter bearing with grease fittings.

Optional customizations, such as stainless steel spill shields, are also available. Call for more information.

Hydraulic spreader controls are sold separately. A variety of options are available, including manual hydraulic, manual with load sensing, and electric over hydraulic, available with or without GPS.
